Eid Outfit...Kind Of

Wednesday, November 2, 2011

So if you scroll down, you'll see there's one key bit missing. The abaya! It's at the tailors, being hemmed. I will definitely post pics of it soon or after Eid. The black hijab below gives you an idea of the colors. It's black with a batwing/butterfly sleeve going on, and the embroidery shown below on the waist. I'm really quite worried about it right now. You see, it's pleated all down the front so I really hope hemming it won't be a problem and it comes out good. I just feel nervous leaving my precious abaya in the hands of a stranger with big scissors. I went to pick it up tonight, like he said, but it wasn't ready yet, so tomorrow, inshaAllah. That's life in Egypt for you.

I like these because the heel is thick.

I thought this bag matched pretty well, even though it was in a different store.

Some bangles...
And a ring to match.
