So if you scroll down, you'll see there's one key bit missing. The abaya! It's at the tailors, being hemmed. I will definitely post pics of it soon or after Eid. The black hijab below gives you an idea of the colors. It's black with a batwing/butterfly sleeve going on, and the embroidery shown below on the waist. I'm really quite worried about it right now. You see, it's pleated all down the front so I really hope hemming it won't be a problem and it comes out good. I just feel nervous leaving my precious abaya in the hands of a stranger with big scissors. I went to pick it up tonight, like he said, but it wasn't ready yet, so tomorrow, inshaAllah. That's life in Egypt for you.

Oo-la-la! Very nice, I wish I could purchase nice, sturdy, fancy abaya's here.. You have to show us ur abaya when it's all sewn up, love the fancy stitching! Oh and those shoes! Even I could walk in those, they are darling!
