Nailed It?

That was a coryn blog post title. I've been getting more and more into nails and nailpolish lately. Most of the nailpolishes you find here are crappy, the only decent ones I've tried are Avon, Yasmina and Amanda, they all run around 18-24LE a bottle but way cheaper than Orly in Faces that's like 85LE for a bottle! Anyway E got me this Revlon french manicure kit recently and seriously, it's like worlds away from nail polishes here. It goes on so nicely, not glunky and the brush is narrow and it dries quick.

 I it's a natural look, I just love it.

I recently also tried to do a glitter gradiant look that I'd seen on pinterest a lot. Can't say it looks awesome but I think you need the bigger glitter and longer nails?

Nails are fun. Kinda makes you look forward to that time of the month?

  2. Orly used to be one of my faves! I always used to like the funkier ones, blues and oranges, or really deep sexy colors. :-)

I only did my toes, btw, my fingernails have never been a thing I wanted to draw attention to. lol

Love the french manicure btw, so classy!

  6. I really like the french manicure look too, it's something I would love to do to my nails, but I have that nasty habit of picking at them before they get too long...sorry if that grossed anyone out

  8. Muslim Convert, not gross. My 9 yr old bites her nails and they are already so small. It's hard to paint them.

  9. very pretty! I have never been into doing my nails but I always admire others who do. I bite my nails and I think I only ever grew them out once when I was a bridesmaid for my best friend and we had manicures done. It did feel nice I have to admit :)

  13. Amalia, yea when one breaks and I cut them all off, I definitely feel the difference. Feels a bit more feminine but it can be a pain to maintain.

Tal3185, Thanks, yea it has it's moments.

Zee, thanks, yea, I use up sooo much remover, never mind all the remover my daughters waste.

Tahasmum, thanks Yea, I've had the Sally Hanson one and the Revlon is way better. The white is WHITE WHITE with just one coat and the sheer on the SH one was streaky for me.

I think your nails look great! Love the French Manicure and of course sparkles are ALWAYS fun. You're nails are the perfect length too. Not to long, not to short.

I haven't done my nails in ages but you're right, why not enjoy THAT time of the month :-P

  18. Mona, I love the French manicure. Looks straight out of the salon. I used to love getting the acrylic overlay on my nails because it lasted fot weeks until you went back for a fill in, but then I stopped when I converted. Now I don't even do polish except my toe nails sometimes in the summer.
