Please Don't Die, Plant!

I got this plant, I love it. I've always wanted to have plants but they always meet an untimely demise. I don't know the name of this plant but the flowers smell really nice. The lady said it was ok indoors and to water it every other day or depending on how moist/dry the soil is. Here's hoping it lives a long time and blooms lots of beautiful flowers, inshaAllah.

  1. Beautiful, sis! One of my most traumatic moments (honestly) was when I had gotten a plant from my sister-in-law. It was a lily of the valley, a tropical plant, and she had it from her father's funeral. Obviously it was special to her.

I kept it happy and healthy for years then one day, ONE day, I just set it outside for a little sunlight. Within a month, all of the leaves had fallen off.

I put that pathetic little stump in my kitchen and kept the flourescent lights on 24/7 trying to regerate that plant. I tried for about 3 months before throwing it away. :-)

I saw it and immediately thought it's probably a gardenia plant. They make very pretty flowers and smell nice. We have one in our back yard.
