How sweet are these?

These are adorable.

And who wouldn't want to fill these shoes?

In real life, I wear more practical shoes, within my price range, but given the right sale and the opportunity I might entertain the idea of owning a pair of the above.
I've posted on shoe purchases before here's a little review:

And here are a few pairs I've gotten recently:
These are my Eid shoes :) I got a matching purse.
I got these about a month ago in Cairo, they're surprisingly comfortable while looking very cool.

Now these are the softest, most wonderful flip flops. I walked all day in them and they still felt good.

What are your favorite shoes?

I adore flats. I can't walk on heels. And wedges seem to be the next best thing to flats.
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't understand the heels phenomenom. My sister is crazy about heels, and she looks so elegant walking in them. I look like an elephant taking its first steps. Really :-)
Love the new look of your blog!
I'm more of a black flats kinda girl, boring, I know, but I dress for comfort more than anything. :/
ReplyDeleteI wish I could be comfortable in those gorgeous shoes you posted, but it's just not me, I guess.
Salaam sis... yes those shoes are gorgeous but I just can't wear them in day to day life. :-) My favorite shoes are a pair of heavy leather (mens) sandals from Wal-Mart. I've had them since 2005 and they've been to India, UAE and all points in between. I love these shoes but the silly company quit making this style and now I'm walking around in worn-out soles. :-)
ReplyDeleteHouda, I love flats sometimes, ballerina flats are so cute. I do understand the heels phenomenon, They're gorgeous, I just cant walk in stilettos for long.
ReplyDeleteUmm Omar, Don't get me wrong, I love the look of the "window shopping" pics and if I had them I'd have to wear them only if I'm going somewhere that doesn't include walking much.
Umm Aaminah, Yea, who can? I know some women can wear them day to day but to me they are like foot art, not practical for someone like me who isn't used to wearing them. Now Wedges are no problem, they are easy to walk in. Have you tried Birkenstocks? I hear they are really comfy and mold to your feet.
I can't do heels either, but I do like to do a wedge because I feel like they make me taller and slim out my silohuette a bit! I really like some of the "booties" that so popular this season too.
ReplyDeletethese look beautiful did they have a fixed price or did you have to haggle a lot i wish more shops in egypt had fixed prices as my arabic is really crappy so they can tell that i'm from a western country. If they had fixed prices i would just pay for it and walk out the shop life would be so much easier then :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE shoes, all kinds and any high, as long as it's trendy and stylish. I really don't care about comfy though since I love high heels and I wear them to work everyday. The best brand that I love to have is anything from Steve Maden, they have the most up-to-date trends.
ReplyDeleteLove your Eid shoes. All of yours seem to be comfortable.
Thanks for sharing
Stephanie, Yes those just below the ankle boots are so cute. But I dont like those sandals with the ankle cuff/boot look, kwim?
ReplyDeleteMuna, The comfy slippers I bargained down 10 LE the black wedges and the Azaleia flip flops were from fixed price shops. (Club Aldo and Condor)
Dr. N, Do you walk a lot at your work? Thanks:)
OK thats cool i need to start discovering more fixed price shops coz haggling just ain't for me i just drag done a family member whenever i see something i truely love at the market

ReplyDeleteyuv got to be kidding. u got those slippers for 10 LE.
ReplyDeletei paid about 60 LE for those at mahmal. they seem to be saving my back and feet ! they're AWESOME.
Muna, Yea most shops in big malls are set prices,it's the shops on the street that are more small business, not a chain.
ReplyDeleteUmm BudiMary, No no, maybe I worded that wrong. I bargained it down 10le FROM 80. So I paid 70. You did good :) They really are so comfortable and feel great.
