I was given this blog award by the lovely Khadra at Crab Goggles . I'll refrain from giving an Oscar-like acceptance speech. I'll also ignore the fact that the award is grammatically incorrect.(I'm not ungrateful, I'm just a grammer nazi.) I shall display it proudly on my sidebar.

I started blogging nearly 4 years ago in January of 2005. It started out as a way to keep my family up to date on us and the kids, to share pictures and stories. Later as I discovered more blogs, I got a few readers and used the blog as a place to vent, a place to bounce off ideas and share cool stuff. I have taken a few breaks in the meantime but now I'm officially addicted. Whenever something interesting happens I think "I'm so blogging about this." Well I'm just a newbie and only started about six months back ... I didn't even know about blogging though I'd heard about it .... but I would always think to myself "What am I going to blog about? My life's sooo boring" lol .... and then somehow I was introduced to blogger through an e-mail and then started to blog though my intention at first was dawah and islah and so I made my first blog the "Islamic Q n A" site and started posting and I sent the link to my relatives and friends .... but there weren't many visitors though and then again I came to know from an e-mail that if I wanted more visitors to my blog I'd have to post more and connect to other bloggers too ..... but I'm a shy person so I thought to myself how am I ever going to write comments ..... then I googled for a few blogs and I came across others through other bloggers .... and then I just started writing comments after reading the post which I found to be interesting .... I also came to know that people love to read about you ur life ...... so that way u hv more ppl visiting ..... so then I made my personal blog ..... I know I've kept it private Insha Allah in future may be I'll allow others too ..... and I always loved to write journal or personal diary ..... but I ddn't know what to write ..... but after reading sooooo many blogs now I'm begining to realize what to write ..... huh .... anywyz I'm happy that Allah connected me with soooo many good sisters whom I can share things with and learn from tooo Alhamdulillah ..... :)
