Cookies!

I made some cookies for Eid...well it's early still but my friend wanted to borrow my cookie gun shooter thingy this weekend. It's not very clear in the photo but First I dipped them in honey and then I used crushed nuts, colored sugar and coconut to decorate them. It was good to get it done quickly this morning while the kids were in school but we'll have to make another batch together, inshaAllah, they love that type of thing.

    Masha'Allah, they look yummy.

do the cookies get soggy after you dip them in honey? How long can they stay like that? Have you ever tried jelly?

  4. Muslimahh, Alhamdulillah they were yummy.

Um Mohammed, no, I just dip the top part in a shallow dish of honey just to get the sugar, etc to stick. Jelly works just as well!

Ange, thanks, notto pretty for our house, they're gone! I send a plate to my new neighbor and by sohoor the rest were devoured. Definately will make more inshaAllah as I has so much left over cocnut and sugar.
